Hello, Fall

Top 4 Fall Trends I Cannot Wait to See

Plus 2 ATX Vendors that are Basically Fall Incarnate

Today marks the autumnal equinox & even though there is no sign yet of fall here in central Texas, my mind has experienced a shift.

Summer is my favorite season for play, but autumn is the best for work; it is the one time of year where wedding trends embrace dark colours & moodiness.

Good riddance, pastels.

So, to honour the start of this bewitching season, I have curated a list of trends I am so f*cking ready to see.

I also threw in a couple vendor spotlights sure to give you the drama you’re looking for.

All things ~*witchy*~

What better time to bust out your crystals & sage than your wedding day?

Embrace the woo-woo.

Not only are crystals gorgeous as decor, they encourage good vibes -- a must for your wedding day.

Stones I love:

  • amethyst | protects against negative energy
  • rose quartz | balances yin & yang
  • selenite | promotes mental clarity

Rich colours

All of the jewel tones & the colours of turning leaves make an appearance come September: deep reds & purples, emerald, oranges, marigold, & sapphire or royal blue -- yes, please.

Long-sleeved gowns

I love love love long-sleeved gowns, especially when they are all lace.

Like, hello stunner.

Long-sleeved gowns will keep you warm on the cool fall nights while making you look regal AF.

The Pearle gown by Claire Pettibone is particularly show stopping.

Candlelit dinners

Earlier sunsets = darker dinners = all.of.the.candles.

Don't forgo eating outside.

Use a plethora of candles, long tables, & family-style dining for an intimate setting.

10th Collection

This curated collection of rentals will make any certified badass’ heart pitter-patter.

Their rental colour scheme is perfect for your moody glam wedding — blacks, greys, brass, & other metals.

Sekrit Theater

This non-venue venue is perfect for the couple who wants something different.

There are numerous vignettes at this site that would make for gorgeous photographs or ceremony locations.

Need proof? Check out the styled shoot I organized there.

The photos will give you serious heart eyes.
